SCROLL

Tell me what you know about dreaming, dreaming.

Two trips in a row and I’m left sitting on my porch in Dallas, TX, appreciating the fact that I’ve never been happier in my life to be where I am and call it home.

You don’t always win the roll of the dice, in life, but you can certainly choose when to roll your hand.

I believe in a multi-dimensional scope of the world; including our relationships, maturity, goals, and life perspective, changing gradually across time. At some points in our lives, a relationship wasn’t meant to happen. At another, the stars seem to align themselves perfectly. What I wanted in my life as a 23 year-old is incredibly different from my current goals.

Jokingly, I’ll say that I haven’t aged gracefully. I fight every step of the process and long for the days where I could eat Taco Hell and not regret it when looking myself in the mirror. Yet, as I’m aging and maturing, I realize that more and more value is being added to my life, through experience and choice.

One of the things I’ve picked up most recently is the amount of difference change of opinion – or predisposed assumptions – is quite possible when given a convincing point of view. It’s also made me realize how many assumptions, beliefs, and natural predispositions we have when it comes to others in our lives; painting a new picture of a relationship by looking at the past pieces of work, rather than the present masterpiece.
