“Achievement of your happiness is the only moral purpose of your life, and that happiness, not pain or mindless self-indulgence, is the proof of your moral integrity, since it is the proof and the result of your loyalty to the achievement of your values.”

Monday’s have always been an interesting day for me. On one hand, it signifies the end of the weekend and the start of the work week. Depending on the events of the weekend, it can be semi-bittersweet. At the same time, when you have a lot of exciting projects to kick off during the workweek, I clamp at the bit to get started and jump into the grind.

Today, I’ve decided to do an inventory of the positive elements in my life that I would consider to be a ‘blessing’ that’s something to be thankful for.

I once heard a pastor say on Thanksgiving “We’ve got it all wrong. We should be thankful 364 days of the year and have one day to complain!”

I’m thankful. Thankful for the opportunities in my life that have surfaced this year that have been building over the past few weeks and are launching this week.

Putting my hands to the plow. Getting busy. And driving hard until the end of the week where I’ll have concrete things to show for the work, time, and heart that is going into a defined life.

See you on the flip side.
