SCROLL

If I ever have a son, I’ll want him to feel valued and strong, capable of achieving whatever it is he sets his mind to and encouraging him to rise from his failures and convert them into victories. If I have a daughter, I’ll want her to know she’s got a heart of gold and remarkable beauty. I’d want them to know that true value and worth comes from the inside-out, rather than the outside-in. And, most importantly, I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever want them to feel as if they deserve to burn in hell because of a fairy tale invented hundreds of years ago by a politically-motivated and power-hungry group of individuals who realized control of the masses is quite easy through fear and the manipulation of what it means to love.
