Change is constant. The only thing about life that’s constant is change, itself. I created this piece to capture my own recognition of the growth I’ve done over the years.
As a 31-year-old man without a Dad, I’ve struggled to go through my 20’s/30’s with the confidence and assurance only a Father can offer.
This piece is representative of my struggles – and persistent growth.
The blue figure on the left side represents me. On the right is a dark figure, who symbolizes my Dad. We’re separated by a sea of red (cancer), yet he continues to support me as I navigate through life. The red on the bottom left is symbolic of my own death.
