Disasterpiece. All of us.
I remember the first time I ‘lost myself’ creating a piece of artwork. While painting a large acrylic piece, I began to laugh and cry my way through each stroke.
Art is beyond what you see on the canvas. It’s an opportunity to display an expression of the mind of the artist, captured while making the piece.
I find art to be quite cathartic. Often, I discover a sea of emotions displayed on each piece. In this piece, I picked colors that hold significance to me.
Blue is representative of my ‘inner child’ spirit.
Red displays my deviance and mortality.
White is my understanding and will.
I find my life to be in the most harmony when all of these emotions are expressed, balanced, and understood.
