A LOOK
INSIDE MY HEAD

When I was only ten, I learned how to type on a manual typewriter. A-S-D-F...J-K-L-;...since then, I’ve written over 2,000 blogs and enjoy sharing my words with others.

As a writer, you see the world around you as a story waiting to be told. Every experience acts as an actor for this beautiful story we’re fortunate enough to call “life.” I hope you appreciate my writing as much as I’ve had, living the story.

Fear

Writing
Inside of me is a heart that longs for every ounce of goodness life has to offer, without the confines of a safety net. I want to attain unparalleled success and create groundbreaking moves in the tech/startup industry. I want to fall in love. Not the kind of love that.

Compassion

Writing
Compassion is one of the biggest gifts my parents bequeathed me as a child. I can't ever remember receiving a lecture about the virtues of compassion. Instead, it was displayed through actions. If you google the dictionary for compassion, it almost gives a tone of one having the ability to.

simplicity

Writing
One of my favorite terms in the world of design is the word 'restraint'. I first heard the term in 2010 while working with an incredibly talented industrial designer. As with design, life often emulates the art we view in museums. Sometimes 'less is more' can be a simpler way.

Entrepreneur State of Mind

Writing
I recently read a blog (link) that focused on the topic of entrepreneurship. Knowing the author - and being the subject - the article really resonated with me. The recent pause in writing has been partly due to the fact that I've spent much more time observing - and internally.

Writing
Ironically, these past few months have been the most sparse I've been with blog writing. I'm finding that sometimes we go through experiences in life that are best kept under our hats, so we can process them fully. I learned this lesson on Saturday, after watching my beloved iPhone go.
