A LOOK
INSIDE MY HEAD

When I was only ten, I learned how to type on a manual typewriter. A-S-D-F...J-K-L-;...since then, I’ve written over 2,000 blogs and enjoy sharing my words with others.

As a writer, you see the world around you as a story waiting to be told. Every experience acts as an actor for this beautiful story we’re fortunate enough to call “life.” I hope you appreciate my writing as much as I’ve had, living the story.

3 Lessons My Mother Taught Me

Writing
As the final blog entry of my 3-part "Happy Birthday, Mom" blog set, I wanted to write about three quality lessons my mother taught me through the example of her actions, words, and beliefs. To be entirely honest, it was hard to pick only three to write about. Here they.

Happy Birthday

Writing
"Today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive who is you-er than you!" Dear Mom, Happy Birthday! (Birthday horn blasting a triumphant serenade) While you're probably headed to work after prepping Josh for school and feeding the kids breakfast, it should be remembered that.

Motherly Love

Writing
As part of a 3-part string of blogs leading up to my mother's birthday, I thought it would be nice to write a few things about the woman who raised me. A Mother's Love Growing up, one of the things I heard constantly from other mothers about my mom was.

Happiness

Writing
"I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death." When I was in.

Writing
When you get older, you realize the idea of relativity is seen in more day-to-day situations than you might have first thought. Fear, pride and stubbornness have the capability to disguise themselves in positive lights. It's only when you step back and look at them through the lens of love,.

Can be

Writing
Since the past few blogs I've written have been a bit different than my usual ramblings, I thought it would make sense to write a short bit about something that's been on my mind. One of the 22. In the bible, there was a story about two lifelong friends, David.

the joy of dogs

Writing
It's been said you can't trust somebody who doesn't like dogs. Regardless of your stance on this quote, there's a lot we can learn from the relationships we have with our canine friends. Since I'm having a 'field trip' with my girlfriends dogs today, I picked up a few things.

I've been an avid gym rat since the age of 16. I'll never forget my first 'real' experience in the gym. It was the day after Thanksgiving and I was introduced to the world of chest and bicep exercises. For over four days after my life, I could barely move..

your daughters

Writing
While getting ready this morning, it dawned on me that part of parenthood is the belief that you've 'done something right' in the life of your children. At least, it seems like that would be one of the goals behind having children; making the world a better place, improving upon.
