A LOOK
INSIDE MY HEAD

When I was only ten, I learned how to type on a manual typewriter. A-S-D-F...J-K-L-;...since then, I’ve written over 2,000 blogs and enjoy sharing my words with others.

As a writer, you see the world around you as a story waiting to be told. Every experience acts as an actor for this beautiful story we’re fortunate enough to call “life.” I hope you appreciate my writing as much as I’ve had, living the story.

Writing
No quotes. As I traverse the complicated maze of life, I've recently become fairly overwhelmed with a truckload of thought. All of which, of course, desires some sort of attention and/or conclusion. Life has not been pleasant for me. And I have to admit, it is often very difficult to.

As We Run

Writing
Scattered thoughts running through my mind. Nobody ever said they had to be organized. If I were to start at my front-of-mind awareness, I'd begin by saying that I'm very excited for the upcoming fight with my brother, Mark. As brothers, we have always been very competitive against each other..

Short Run

Writing
Well, I'm very well aware that much of my writing is often superfluous and difficult to comprehend or mentally follow. Whether it's the side effect of constantly-running mind or the fact that my parents were very insistent the Plaat children learned to write/type well at a young age, is irrelevant..

Made

Writing
Recently, a good friend of mine stated that it was time for me to begin sowing seeds that would yield fruit. He was speaking of the various items in my proverbial bag that will yield the next season of fruit and hopeful prosperity. Normally, I'm much better at putting these.

Growing up. Getting older. If you know me, you've probably heard me say "we never grow up - we just get older" in conversation. There are many instances where that saying seems to apply. There are others where I realize we've grown up. We no longer have the days of.

Opportunist

Writing
I believe there are moments in every life that transition and develop the mindset which one approaches life. I've had, and continue to have, many of these moments occur on a regular basis. There are two short 'moments' of this nature I'd like to highlight in the next few moments.

Coming Alive

Writing
December seems to be a very difficult time for me. Seeing as how it's not even December, yet, I'd say this upcoming period of time is going to be nothing short of a real treat. I say this with a slight dose of sarcasm. Life's unbearable if you can't take.

Train Up

Writing
Over the years, I have read and heard many different definitions of what is required to be a successful leader. Some have claimed leadership is comprised of those who are willing to take steps where others will not go. Others proclaim it is seen in those who are able to.

Battle Cry

Warrior Mind
Were this blog to have been written just a few short hours earlier, I can assure you the content would be remarkably different than what I am about to write. It's incredible to think about the fact that many of us have been only a few short "however" "therefore" and.

Writing
I must admit, there has been significantly more on my mind in recent times than there has been in many years. If it were possible to sum up the thoughts to have occurred during the past three weeks, it would take much longer than three weeks to explain them in.
